Summer Photo Spots in Joetsu photo_summer
We introduce some nice photo spots such as Lotus Festival of Takada Castle Ruins Park, said to be No. 1 in the east, and photogenic seasides where the horizon stands out!
Takada Castle Ruins Park Lotus Festival
The lotuses covering almost all outer moats of Takada Castle Ruins Park are said to be the best in the east due to its size and beauty. It is a rare lotus flower group in the world that blooms with a mixture of pink and white flowers. This event was held from Saturday July 15th to Sunday August 20th in 2023. The lotuses close their flowers in the afternoon, so we recommend viewing them in the morning.
