Takada Castle Ruins Park
You can enjoy autumn leaves of cherry blossom from early November, and ginkgo from mid-November. It is perfect walking route since there are playground equipments, benches, and a café near the park.

Boga Pond Lakeside Park
Boga Pond was selected as one of the 100 reservoirs in Japan in 2010. The lake shines brightly on sunny days, and the scenery reflected on the water surface is beautiful. You can feel not only autumn leaves but also variety of nature.

Kasugayama Shrine
The leaves are gradually colored in red and yellow on the way to the shrine. Uesugi Kenshin is enshrined in the Kasugayama Shrine, and it is a spot where you can feel the history and nature. Goshuin stamps of this shrine are distributed in the shrine shop.

Jozenji Temple
The autumn leaves of Jyozenji Temple in Kakizaki ward shows us cute color contrasts of gingko and the temple. This temple is the building of the Pagoda style in India and made of reinforced concrete. This style of main hall is valuable in Japan since this is one of the earliest buildings built in this style. You can view the horizon from the top of the stairs.
