This program is held at the site of a refurbished former school building. Try your hand at making seasonal tempura, noppe soup, pressed sushi, sasa dango (sweet dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves), chimaki (steamed rice wrapped in bamboo leaves), pounded rice with herbs, or other countryside specialties.
