Jyoukouji Temple

This is an ancient temple which was founded by Shinran.
The remains of St. Shinran are interred in the main temple on the grounds.
The main hall has been designated as a National Cultural Property. Treasures can be viewed with admission fee.

Traffic access(train): Take the Echigo Tokimeki Railway Myoko Hanauma Line to Takada Station. From there it's 10 minutes walk.
Traffic access(bus): Take the Kubiki Bus to Takada Station and there it's 10 minutes walk.
Traffic access(car): By Hokuriku Expressway: 10 minutes drive from Joetsu IC Exit.  
By Joshin-etsu Expressway: 5 minutes drive from Joetsu Takada IC Exit.
