The theme of this museum is "Miyaguchi Burial Ground and Village Living" and a lot of folk materials telling the history of glass and oil as well as excavated items from the tomb are displayed. Experience 20,000 - 30,000 years of lifestyle, history, culture, customs and folklore in Maki Ward, Joetsu City (formerly Maki Village).

Traffic access(train): Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Joetsu Myoko Station. From there it’s 20 minutes by taxi or rental car.
Traffic access(bus): Take the Echigo Tokimeki Myoko Haneuma Railway Line to Takada Station. Then, from Takada Eki Mae Annai Jo take a bus bound for Miyaguchi and get off at Miyaguchishimo. From there it's five minutes on foot.
