Yasuzuka Shrine

Preparing for dispatch to the Kanto region, Uesugi Kenshin prayed for success at the Suwa shrine here and dedicated spears and lanterns to celebrate his victory.
In Yasuzuka Shrine there are also two guardian dog statues said to be painted in scarlet lacquer in the Muromachi Era, which are preserved as treasures.
